The 2009 - 2010 Season Schedule
Lunch at Allen's
Tuesday, October 6, 2009 Location: Chuck Mobley Theatre
This is an extraordinary musical review by internationally renowned artists Murray McLauchlan, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan and Ian Thomas who perform together as a band -- the stage show is an intimate and humorous performance by some of Canada's finest individual performers. It all began as a regular get together at Allen's Pub & Restaurant on the Danforth in Toronto with Canadian music icon Murray McLauchlan and old friends Ian Thomas and Marc Jordan. After adding the voice of Cindy Church, a "Lunch At Allen's" turned into an outstanding band performing some of Canada's (and the world's) most enjoyed songs from each of these songwriters' impressive catalogues.

Jake's Gift
Saturday, November 14, 2009 Location: Chuck Mobley Theatre
Jake's Gift is an award winning comedy-drama about a cantankerous WWII veteran who reluctantly returns to Juno Beach for the 60th anniversary of D-Day. While there, he meets Isabelle, a precocious 10-year old from the local village, whose inquisitive nature and charm challenge the old veteran to confront some long ignored ghosts.
"How often have you gone to a play and virtually every member of the audience was crying by the end of it? That's what happened when I took in Jake's Gift at the Edmonton Fringe Festival... If you get a chance to see this play anywhere, go see it. Every Canadian school child should see this as well. If you're a war vet, go see it. If you're not, take your war vet relative to it." - The Edmonton Sun
